The T.F. Riggs FBLA chapter is proud of their success in all their competitive events at the FBLA Spring Conference in Sioux Falls this week.  Congratulations go out to the following FBLA members for receiving these awards:

Qualifying for nationals which will be held in Anaheim, CA, June 29 through July 2 are Nicole Weiss, Bella Pickner, Jacob Mikkonen, Charlee Williams-Smith, Campbell Cronin, Brianna Goodman, Chloe Bowers, Harper Reichling, Isabelle Weller, Ava Johnson, and Kate Cremer.

The T.F. Riggs High School ProStart Culinary Team took first place at the 2025 South Dakota ProStart Invitational held in Pierre. Team members Chesney Kalda, Noah Harsma, Zoe Kinney, Christian Stanley, and Temperance Uhrig will now advance to the National ProStart Invitational in Baltimore this May. Senior Chesney Kalda also received the prestigious President’s Award for outstanding leadership. Additionally, Kate Stolley, a Culinary 1 student, earned 3rd place in the Cake Decorating competition.

The Pierre School Board approved the 2025-2026 school calendars at the Febuary 10th board meeting.  The school year will start on August 19th, 2025 for all schools in the district.

Parent/Guardian(s) looking to enroll their child in the Pierre School District must complete our Student Online Registration.

Use a tablet, laptop, or desktop computer to complete the online registration. Each school in the district has computers available to complete online student registration, if necessary.

Select "Start New Registration" to provide information for all children. All students can be added to the same application.
